Opening schedule during the Christmas holidays 2022
During the Christmas holidays , the Urêka Museum will be open :
- from Wednesday 21 to Friday 23 December from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- from Wednesday 28 to Friday 30 December from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Guided tours: December 22 and 29 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Closed for holidays from December 31 to January 11.

Science Festival: visit the redeveloped former mining sites!
The Uranium mines of Limousin were exploited from 1949 to 2001. What remains, on the ground, of these 50 years of exploitation? The volunteers of the Energies Limousines association will make you discover, near Bessines-sur-Gartempe, 3 sites redeveloped according to different themes (industrial reconversion, water recycling, development of a new biotope, creation of a play area) .
Friday 14 and Saturday 15 October from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

European Heritage Days 2022
On the occasion of European Heritage Days, admission to the museum is free this weekend! We will be delighted to welcome you on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., without reservation. Average duration of visit: 1h30
